Haven't you been in Budapest yet? No worries!

Budapest is a great city to travel to with or without your family. In June the weather is usually beautiful and while for us Budapest's size is enormous, one week can be enough to watch all the incredible places this city can offer. There are baths, historical places and great museums to watch and the night life is quite amazing. As the capital city of Hungary, it is quite populated (nearly two million people) compared to the other Hungarian cities and it has a great infrastructure. You can reach the inner city by catching a bus from the airport of Ferihegy (if you're traveling by plane), or by catching a taxi. (Bolt is an option in Hungary as well, but no Uber sadly). Those people who are chosing international buses or trains are in a lucky situation where you just get off from those vehicles at or close to the city center. If you are traveling around the city we recommend you buy a monthly community travel ticket (costs around 23 euros) or 24h tickets, because it is way cheaper then buying just single tickets all the time. Tickets are valid for all type of public transport (tram, bus, metro, etc.).
